Being a busy college student does not leave me much extra time when heading out the door. When I am in a rush, I often don’t have time to steam my clothing if it is wrinkly. That is where wrinkle releasing spray comes into play.
While I have seen many options for these types of sprays, many contain harsh chemicals while others just don’t get the job done.
I recently purchased Crease Release from Laundress. It is advertised as a spray that helps get rid of wrinkles on clothing as an alternative to ironing. The scent I got my spray in is called “Clean”. It is made with nontoxic ingredients that are not tested on animals. It is dye free and made in the USA.
This product smells great. My shirt smelled fresh and clean after applying the spray, but to too much to where it was overwhelming. After applying my first layer of sprays, I waited a few minutes to see how it would work without any smoothing. This helped get rid of the wrinkles only slightly. After smoothing the shirt with my hands is when the real magic happened. I saw the majority of my t-shirt become smooth!
I did notice that the bottom of my shirt still had quite a few wrinkles as I did not apply as much spray to the bottom third. I added some additional product and that helped fix the problem area.
If I could change one thing about the product, I would add some additional tips on how to get the best results out of it. I was a little lost when it came to the smoothing and how long I should expect to spend waiting for it to work.
My overall experience with the product was really positive. I received it in a timely manner, I didn’t pay a fortune on it and it got the job done. This is something I can see myself repurchasing again and again. If you often find yourself in a time crunch and are looking for an easier way to alleviate some wrinkles, definitely give Crease Release a shot.
